The Asylum
A downloadable game
Welcome to The Asylum. A horror game created by Martin Margolin and Mark Nusser in Neumont's 72 hour Summer Game Jam.
The theme of the jam was You are The Villain, so in The Asylum, you play as a person who suffers from schizophrenia who sees and hears things that may (or may not) be real. Travel through different hand crafted levels of the asylum, breaking circuit boxes, and shut down power in the facility and help your "friends?" escape.
Do you have what it takes to fight the illusions and help the bad guys out?

I really liked the overall atmosphere in this game. It has an eerie and spooky ring to it. Not necessarily scary, but as a player you expect something to happen. Sometimes it's just nice to survive a game for a change :o]
Thanks for making this game. I enjoyed playing it.
Didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags.
.
Great game - enjoyed it a lot
Quite a weird horror game but a cool one. But pretty well made in only 72 hours! Keep going!
Short but not bad for being made in only 72 hours. Made a video on it.
This game is super interesting friend, it is very well done, I want you to subscribe to my channel, greetings
Very enjoyable! I had my specific parts I like for sure (that shrinking hallway though), but overall it was well done. You could definitely strive to make this into a longer game outside the constraints of the game jam! Keep up the good work!
Its a pretty good game, well done!
Short and creepy little game, good work :)
Short and sweet, I liked the ambiance it felt so abandoned and creepy. Very well made, good lil game.
great short creepy game
I really like this game! The voices kept creeping me out, and the ending was quite a surprise! Overall, not bad! Great job!
It's amazing that this game only took 72 hours to make. It was short but fun to play!
